This is gorgeous work Denis, super colours that really help to bring it to life, lovely details in the row of cottages and shops, when you say you worked quickly, how long did it actually take you?

I guess I would have been standing on the bridge with the book open, pen in hand and diddly paint box deployed for 90 minutes at the most. That includes talking time.

This is delightful - lovely spare pen work. Great stuff !

Love this - the colours are perfect and the pen work excellent.

Super work Denis and all the more impressive as an on the spot work.

This was painted on an evening in late summer. It was getting pretty murky when the colour was put on. Location? A village in the Fens.
