Witherslack, Cumbria.
I sketched this in the village of Witherslack. I had gone on holiday in the Lakes for a week around Easter. The idea was to visit some of the place I frequented fifty years ago when I lived in what was then North Lancashire. I picked a bad week! It rained, snowed and blew - not the weather for plein aire painting. My fingers were numb when I gave in and closed the sketch book.
