I think it is great. I don;t know why the bbc have stopped the programmes, but they had "What does an artist do all day" and they had a chap on and I forget his name, who etches. It was fascinating to watch as he smoked while doing it! This works.

I don't know much about etchings (apart from the line 'come up and see my etchings' lol!) but I am taken with the look of your one. It has a very industrial feel to it as if it was a scene in a Northern mining town. Very interesting.

Thea, This is definitely not a northern mining town - it's rural market town in the east of England. I guess it looks grim and dull because I left too much ink on the plate when I printed it. Most of my etchings turn out like this with a feeling of coldness. But I like them. Thanks thanks for your comment.
