Wet Day in Dijon
Ten years ago, I was one of a group of painters en route to Provence by coach for a 10 day holiday in Provence. We broke the journey staying overnight in Dijon and woke up to a horrible wet day. Rather than lose out to the weather, I sat under the canopy at the front of the hotel and made sketches of a couple of intriguing buildings opposite. In so doing I attracted the attention of lots of passers by.
