How I managed to keep warm whilst painting this I will know not. It was cold! And if I remember correctly, it was the last day of a week I spent in North Yorkshire with the renowned American oil painter Don Stone. Don had the ability to make any subject that he tackled, whatever the the weather, something that you'd kill for if you could just hang it on your wall.
