If you love watercolor flowers, look for The late Charles Reid book on flowers in watercolor. He wrote several books and dvd. I think you can find it on amazon or probably used books vendors as well. You will love his style. He was an American artist and passed in 2019 I believe.

I have long been an admirer of Charles Reid’s work. He was the master of anything he tackled, be it flowers, landscapes or portraits. There was a time when he used to come over to run watercolour courses at Urchfont Manor in Wiltshire and I had ambitions to sign up for one of them. I never made it. The nearest I came to the great Charles Reid was when, by chance, I had one of my paintings exhibited alongside one of his in a Charity Show in Beverley. But I did pick up tips from him. He used his board flat with lots of clean water and plenty of pigment.

A light touch and minimal water needed with cartridge, and it's still a devil to paint on; I think you've done a fine job with this one.
