How lucky were you ... and this is a wonderful watercolour to remind you

That’s a lovely watercolour Denis. What a great experience and opportunity that you did a course with Edward Wesson. I am so impressed.

I have heard many comments about how Mr. Wesson inspired would be artists. I can see his influence in this lovely work Denis. Must bring back great memories.

Wow! This is old! Look at the date. 1980! But it is a treasured piece of my time as a painter. It was painted on the final day of a course run by the late, great Edward Wesson. I’d been cajoled into joining the group of Wesson ‘groupies’ by my brother in law who was a very keen artist. I’d been converted by the time this was painted. OK, my technique has changed since those days over 40 years ago, but it was Edward Wesson who got me hooked!
