High and Dry
Last week I spent with old friends painting in and around Southwold, Aldeburgh ans Blythburgh. It was a good week and although I didn’t produce any masterpieces, it was great to be able to concentrate on painting and sketching and to have company at meal times - even though my impaired hearing renders me on the fringe of any conversations. But as I say, it was a good week. This ink and wash of a boat which was standing on the hard near the harbour masters office in Southwold is unfinished but I’m pleased with it.
