Somewhere in New England
Skip Lawrence, a painter I have long admired painted his version of this scene in watercolour. My copy is an ink and wash version! They say you can always learn from the work of others and that’s what I was trying to do here. I was attracted by the jumble of wooden buildings which make a lovely composition and by Skip’s use of complimentery colours.
