I think You've already got the hang of it - the bleed with the washes works so well leaving the central cottage in full sunlight

Well, I am pleased we all have to adjust with new challenges. My effort today is a huge improvement on the version I did earlier. It also helps to wear the right glasses and not to be in a rush!!

This is an imaginary scene worked up at the Art Club. I was trying out a new pen using semi waterproof ink. The water colour wash put on the picture shortly after the drawing was made, tended to make the ink move a little and it also modified the colour I was using. I’ll persevere and maybe i’ll get the hang of it
