Love it Denise - your sparing use of colour adds so much to the charm balance and costruction of your work. I am sure I could never achieve it no matter how much I tried.

I agree with Michael, Denise: I wouldn't have the patience for this. Your work is so typically "you" and I admire it so very much. This is again an amazing work. The longest time I "work" on a painting is a sort of Japanese, Chinese calligraphic way: thinking, imagining and concentrating (meditation?): at least one week, sketching and drawing: maybe a few hours and painting: immediately or the next day. I could never leave a work painted halfway and continue the next day, I am too concentrated in what I do, so it has to be finished in one go.

Fantastic draughtsmanship Denise.....I agree with Michael regarding the under stated use of colour, it makes your work very special.

I agree with all the above. Another stunning painting Denise,

Think it has all been said Denise and can only agree with the comments already posted, another fine piece of drawing of the architecture of Venice, looking forward to viewing more of your work during 2012.

This is wonderful, Denise! I love the composition, I think the gondolas and the detail on the buildings really bring Venice to life in this painting, and like everyone, I am full of awe at your superlative draughtsmanship. It's not often these days we see drawing skills as excellent as yours, which is a pity.

I knew this was yours before I saw your name. ?This is splendid :)
