Having painted the scene a few times myself I know the time and patience you must have put into this, brilliant. You can get a good nights sleep now!

Thank you gents for your kind comments , this photo does not actually do it justice though unfortunately. Yes fred it will be nice to now get some sleep, have another one planned though I enjoyed the challenge.

Pen and ink painting - the reason I have not posted for so long and now managed to delete my whole portfolio !!!Apologies to anyone that may have made comments in the past. This painting measure 4ft by 1ft and is completely rendered in pen and ink. It has been a challenge and taken me nearly 6 weeks of more or less constant work, but I have really enjoyed it. I wanted to try something on a much grander scale as I tend to always work small. I am considering getting prints done and would be grateful for any feedback or comments. I hope that the detail will be able to be seen as it is so large it was difficult to photgraph.
