You have caught that windswept feel of the moors debs. Good wash techniques, a lovely painting.

Beautiful atmospheric painting, full of the sadness and longing of Kathy. I love the way the shape of Kathy with her outstretched arms is mirrored in the cloud shape above her head - very cleverly done and it adds to the feeling that she will float back up to the sky again. Super spooky windswept moors. Another of your superb monochrome paintings.

A very imaginative painting! Seeing "Heathcliffe" and your exc. "Yorkshire Moors" I wonder if you'll be going to see the latest film version of "Wuthering Heights"? It certainly promises to be different. I wonder if your interest in skies is because you live in Yorkshire? They are certainly very "brooding" near the moors. ( I used to live in Holmfirth). .Thanks Marjorie - yes I certainly will be going to see the new WH and the new Jane Eyre! No I don't live in Yorkshire [N. Wales in fact] but I've loved the Bronte Novels all my life and my paintings are a small homage to all the pleasure they have given me over the years - try to get up to Haworth every year and been to Holmfirth once - I love it !!!!
