Hope you dont mind me asking, but did you use masking fluid for the moon? I get teased about my moons, my neighbour accuses me of having a "moon stamp" :) I always use masking fluid for them but often end up with quite a hard edge which I have to soften while trying not to loose the perfect circle! I'm just curious as to whether or not you used it! I love the way that you've painted the swirls on the bottom of the dress. It's an attractive painting.

Hi Louise, no I did'nt use any masking fluid for the moon, I have in the past but it does leave a hard edge which I find is hard to soften, so I just painted 'around it' so to speak, as you can see there is a slight bump in the top left hand corner of the moon, but I like slight imperfections as they give paintings a more authentic feel somehow [ well that's my excuse lol ]

Another of your 'blast from the past' paintings! I love the flowing and sweeping lines of the lady and gentleman which you have cleverly mirrored in the balustrades on either side of the steps. In fact, there isn't a straight line in this painting which is probably why it appears so fluid and full of movement. Love all your blues as always - you use that colour so well.
