Lovely eyes and a lovely smile. Not easy to draw people smiling but you've done it very well. Thank you for your comment on my pastel, the ones I use are Rembrandt soft pastels. I've heard that Unison are very good as well but I've never tried those. With regard to animal fur and eyes there are a lot of artists on this site better qualified to advise than me including Julia Banning? ( might have gor her surname wrong) and the master himself Malcolm Whittaker. I can only say build up the fur in layers from the darkest to the lightest and always have light reflected in the eye to give it life and remember the eye ball isn't flat it's rounded therefore the edges would be in shadow, if you know what I mean.
