Lovely colours, Debbie, and turbulent water rushing over the stones and rocks. You were brave to take this one on!

I wholeheartedly agree with Ruths comment. A very tricky subject to pull off, trying to give it a structure without losing the abstract effect of the water. I can hear that rush of water now as I look at it . Fab

As said above, a very difficult subject to pull off successfully, but you have triumphed in this painting. Very, very good.

You have caught the cold sparkling water well, full of movement.

This immediately stuck me as your work Debbie. Really nicely done. This looks like a fast running stream which you have captured so well.

I really like this, the transparency of the upper water is particularly good IMHO.

Hi friends Thanks for your comments, I have just clicked on the website after a few weeks, it is a new design, just getting used to it. I found one of your seascapes Ade, thought it was mine, very similar to one I have done earlier this year. Thanks for your comment, what does IHMO mean?

Debbie: HMSO = Her Majestys stationary office. IMHO = In My Humble Opinion. Can't see why I would have mentioned the former on POL. Does that help?

This is a lovely stream we have walked and followed into the mountains at Mealasta, Isle of Lewis. I love to paint rocks and water especially. I have done many pastels of this Burn, some on location, this one is in oil.
