This was exploring the technique of painting over a base colour in acrylic. The colour was cobalt blue. I have been using acrylics for a number of years and now I have discovered this new technique. It was exciting and I achieved much about tone using my brushes and colour. This beach is a summer's day on Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris.
