I love the tight framing, it feels as if you are in amongst them, I assume it is a pastel painting? how big is it?

Hi Kay, Glad you like my drawing. It has been done in pastel pencil, which I am very fond of for detail. I draw many dog commissions in this medium for the fur lines. It is a small drawing measuring 14cm X 17cm. It is mounted and framed to 35cm X 42cm. Please check out my website saa.co.uk/art/islandarts and link to the minigalleryworld for more paintings. Cheers, Debbie.

Love this Debbie. Reminds of gathering before shearing. Great work.

thanks Chris for your comment, it is a lovely surprise to receive them. Have you checked out my website, saa.co.uk/art/islandarts. I was looking at yours last night, very good lighting on your portraits

Love this too. I like the other sheep one too (we have the Black Face sheep here, and the all black Hebridean sheep - which I would love to paint one day.) Must have a look at your website.
