Seascape in Acrylic Demo by Debbie Cullis
I have painted demo examples out of 'The Artist' magazine as a challenge, this is the first in the series. I have used my own example of a photo from the Isle of Lewis, on the Hebrides. I experimented with Phthalo Green and Phthalo Blue, with technique of splashes and credit card lines and a palette knife. It was fun to play around with the paint to create the sea and the crashing waves. I learned much from keeping the strokes to a minimum.
