I love the Scottish wildflowers and now is the time for Yarrow, which I have painted with poppies. I played around with painting in sand and then added real leaves off the yarrow. It echoes the end of our Summer season in my gallery, which has been very wet and windy since June, a terrible year for the cyclists and walkers coming to the Isle of Lewis.
