i love the sky.......... looks like its moving

I've also been trying to encapsulate memories of the Hebrides in paint - you've got the feeling of the wind, the startingly white sand and the gulls crying -I almost feel I'm there again, and will go back to my efforts with renewed vigour.

Hi Ruthy and kezia I would just like to say thank you very much for your kind remarks. I am glad I may have been able to inspire you. My partner is an RSPB member, encouraging me to look closely at all birds of all sorts. If you like my birds, I have a lot more on my website at saa.co.uk/art/islandarts take a closer look. I have a gallery and B&B here on the Isle of Lewis. We have done very well this year, both myself and patner selling lots of paintings. I also offer painting tuition for anyone who wants to improve their painting techniques with full board in our B&B.

Love it sea, skies and realistic birds (none of those formations of three floppy V's) wow...one day just one day we might get to your world...you keep on painting & posting here I'll keep on viewing...

It looks a very windy day in this painting plenty of movement portrayed & well done Regards Max
