The contrast between the structured estate in the background and the loose, vibrant flowers in the front is fantastic. Gouache was definitely the perfect medium for this texture ! 🎨✨

Gouache on paper roughly A4 in size. I loved working on the flower beds which look magnificent at the moment. I've been visiting Lotherton hall for years first with my kids and now with my grandkids, so a bit of family history captured
