Thanks , Heather. I was surprised how I completely lost the urge to paint for months after I couldn't paint outdoors with my pals. Only making myself do ink and pen and wash sketches at home kept me in some sort of occasional practice. I can't put in words how good it felt to be at the easel, in front of the landscape again.

Great to get outside again and paint like this. Well done!

Thanks, Willie, it did feel liberating. At the start I was all fingers and thumbs until I got used to my outdoor set up again, but after an hour and a half it felt like I'd never been away. Just like riding a bike?!
