Low Tide, Ravenglass by David Whitehead
I just love "edge of the land" places and this was my second visit to Ravenglass where the main street runs straight into the estuary. These cottages are lapped by the water at high tide and are an iconic image to me. The painting is also an exercise in using just two colours - French Ultramarine and Burnt Sienna.
