Winter Blues by David Melrose

I, too, took up painting after discovering Bob Ross on daytime TV after I retired. If, on that basis, I may comment; two things strike me about the mountains. First, you need to get rid of the dark outlines around the mountains of the nearer range. The overall tone of the near mountain slopes should define them and separate them from the mountains behind. (Dark against light and light against dark). Secondly, you need to get rid of the "sameness" of the peaks. They all have the same angle of slope and the same sharp pointed peak. Having said that, it is an excellent painting. although one every nine years can hardly be described as a concentrated effort.!!

My third painting in 27 years following the Bob Ross method of Wet-On-Wet. I took painting back up on Xmas 2010. What do you think?
