The Pathway

Good feeling of distance here David, the angle of the pathway and the shadows tend to lead out of the picture, which isn't a good idea, perhaps you could curve the path in a bit and have the light coming from the right? I find watercolour difficult enough with good materials, so you have done well here!

There is another side to the path just poor photography on my behalf. It was a real challenge. Im on holiday in France, Mid west and thought I'd bring a small kit over and some A4 size watercolour sheets. First time I have done this and it was more for a learning experience than anything. I learned to make sure I have good kit If I am going to try this again. Thanks David

Full of life and atmosphere.

I see a curve of the path at the end. I also feel the heat and light. Perhaps accentuate the shadows next time, also in the fields even if there is none, just to lift the texture a bit. Watercolour is hard; once the paint is on that's it!
