There is something very appealling about this painting.The mountainn top is great with what appears to be a pearl like quality.

I think you should carry on painting - this is excellent, and as David says, the mountain top has a pearly sheen (I would have said nacreous, but didn't want to show off.......). There are pearl whites, available from some manufacturers: I wonder if you used one and, if not, what you did use?

Hi Guys, Thanks for the words of encouragement. Robert you asked how this was achieved? I had a very faint almost unnoticeable roughly mixed leave streak of violet which I mixed and lemon yellow straight from the tube as I said almost unnoticeable, More luck than skill I think. I then Applied this mix rather thick with a palette knife and the rest is history. Please check out my other painting in the collection Art By Melrose. Thanks David
