My first ever attempt at a portrait, and so obviously I had to choose The Queen in her Platinum Jubilee year. I did the initial drawing freehand and tried to focus on getting proportions right, and her characteristic features recognisable as those of The Queen. Lots to learn, but happy with my first attempt.
