Beautiful piece David. All those subtle blues and grays. Been waiting for your next painting. But I never got a notification. I can look at this for a long time David it really is superb. I trust you was able to light a fire while sitting out doing this one.

Beautiful winter scene David, it's so well painted, lovely.

John where have you been keep checking to see your pictures .I expect you have been painting madly to then flood the site with new exciting work.I didn't spend too long outside all my body parts started to freeze !I finished it indoors thankyou for lovely comments .

Margaret thankyou for your kind comments x

What a wonderful painting this is - you've completely caught the textures of a cold, crisp, winter's day.

Very frosty David! I expect to see the Snow Queen here. Lovely , delicate portrayal of an oh so cold and frosty day David. Amazing work.

No sorry David. Been on holiday. A little sketching, watercolour, photography and having a whale of a time in Wales. No internet connection though.

David, my admiration for you and your work has just soared!! I love to paint on the spot but I'm a big girl when it comes to the cold, and, I don't love art this much!!lol I've been transported to this exact spot through your painting and I can feel my extremities starting to go numb. I can even hear the hush that grey heavy skies, tall bare trees and a blanket of snow creates. Stunning.....and for me, your best, well my favourite.

Robert thankyou for your comments high praise from the master!

An absolute gem. Your usual eye for detail, and your palette has instilled a lot of atmosphere in this, a truly wonderful piece of work David.

Fiona you are lovely with your comments .I can tell you I was in these woods for approx 30mins that was long enough for all my extremities to get frozen! xx

Andre you are very kind thankyou

I love how you can 'feel' the chill!
