I love all the vehicles and machinery, so well painted. Then the composition is so well thought out - like your use of diagonals in the central section- great!

The setting is on the B18 just north of Toomebridge in County Antrim in 1966, but a scene that could be anywhere on these islands. The company featured became a government road contractor in 1944 and still is to this day. The contract involved establishing gravel shoulders to the road as part of a widening scheme.
