The country around Penzance is wonderfully varied and the weather changes so quickly that it's a constant delight and challange to the painter. This was a cold damp day in March and although the sky was grey there was water lying in the fields which picked up a pinky coral tinge. I used cadmium red, ultramarine, white dulux and a suggestion of cadmium yellow. Acrylic on canvas on board, painting measures 50 x 60 cms
