This is very "London", love the pigeon

Nicely caught Craig, and yes I see the pigeon.(-:

Portrait of a pigeon! Terrific darks in your painting, full of interest, nice one.

Exquisite work, Craig. It looks as if it would be much bigger, so your skill is there for all to see. The pigeon is a nimble touch and I absolutely love the painterly style and the excellent use of colour. Great highlights, reminiscent of Chiaroscuro painting. Brian

Well captured, including the pigeon. Beautifully done, Craig.

A beautiful painting Craig looks like a Peter Brown and his sell for thousands

Craig, you are not a good painter. You are a cracking painter. Well done with the BP. As with all competitions there is a big element of good fortune. Of which in my view FASHION plays a big part. Looking at any short list of paintings selected for consideration in a competition; l think to myself boy any one of theses could be the winner. However get on a short list and you have cracked it really. Like I said a “cracking painter.”

Really great painting Craig. I like the pigeon!

You are a very versatile artist There is such a powerful image in only 8x8. I hope that 2018 brings you more success. I will be watching your work

Nice light and composition.

A small work that packs a big punch Craig, reminds me of the small studies by Vallette in Manchester Art Gallery.

Hi here's a little 8x8 oil on canvas that I did yesterday it's a scene that caught my eye just outside of the National portrait gallery London. Can you spot the pigeon? I just had to include it!
