WHY? Agree with Sylvia...rather sad, my sympathy is with the sitter...if she exists.

This is brilliantly understated...clearly, it&#39;s an image that many women would strive to achieve if it were not for contemporary society&#39;s obsession with uber slim forms that do more to de -feminise their true nature and purpose...that of the fullness of fertility expressed in a voluminous body, designed to attract and re produce after one&#39;s own image...this image is the very essence of tribal fertility dolls...I don&#39;t understand how you fail to see this symbolism...

Thank you for your comments Roger ! Regarding the &#39;girlie mags &#39; references, you are miles away. In these sensitive times , where people are so easily &#39; offended &#39;, I imagined that these were things of the past. When I did last look at such material, which I admit was some time ago, I can&#39;t remember seeing any models similar to my &#39; Nude with fuller figure &#39; painting, to which some of you object ! <br /> However, it is enlightening to find, that some of you are &#39; au fait &#39; with the seamier side of society, despite pretensions to the contrary .
