The Shadow Stalker
Acrylic on newspapered wood panel 16 x 20 inches. I bought a job lot of genuine 1920's newspapers with this idea in mind. I glued the paper to the panel with acrylic binder and sealed it with the same. I then covered it with clear gesso. I really liked the clear gesso it has lots of tooth. I'm sure it would be great for pastels too. The moon behind the raven is a bit clichéd but it needed something there.
