This is my fourth oil, a small cove just around the coast from the harbour of Mgarr, Gozo island. The bay is called Xatt L-Ahmar, it is ovelooked by the ancient fort guarding the harbour now being developed into ' desirable' apartments for those wishing to have an enviable view !. I used Jacksons oils and canvas, the primed Med/Fine Finest 390 gm, supplied off the roll, I bought 3 lin mtrs which will give me some 15 or so canvasses, enough for this years oils I think !!.
