Marvelous painting, i can hear the gulls and the waves..almost. Good attention to the rigging on the vessel..tricky stuff to get right. Look forward to seing more of your work. thanks for posting.

It has been a while since I posted, indeed I have made very little time to even visit the Painters Online site, Being retired has lately posed a question that perhaps many will associate with, how ever did I find time to work ??. This is my very first Oil, done over the last 4 weeks at studio where I and a friend attend each Tuesday for 2 hours. We have an excellent tutor who is always there but somehow never there !!!. He never criticises only says " I can help you with that" when he does spend a word or two of encouragement it is worth a million. He said, " this is very good for a first attempt". I was delighted.
