S shaded lane on the island od Gozo, Malta, It shows the land as it is in parts, here is produced many crops on well cared for terraced land and small fields, such as that illustrated. 510 x 360mm watercolour on 140 lb NOT Fabriano paper. My only real problem was the main tree, not entirely happy with it , I do find it , shall we say, a challenge to render tree forms, esp in leaf.
