Mountain stream, Küthai, Tirol, Austria. Watercolor 45x76cm on Arches 300g rough. I decided for a narrow but high format to lead the eye along the partly frozen stream to the prominent mountain peak in the background. The late afternoon sun was mirroring on some stones and in the icy water. The repeating warm colors helped to unify the painting.
