“Pillberg”, Tirol Austria 56x 38cm on Arches rough 300gWhen it was snowing and the sun breaks through again, it is time to go out and paint! In Tirol warm winds create sometimes very special cloud pattern. In this painting I tried to show the atmosphere of a warm, sunny winter day. The low standing winter sun casted long shadows in the snow. A wooden fence fully covered with snow leads to a couple of barns. On the horizon the mountain peaks melt together with the clouds.
