Obere Schwarzachalm (1631m) Gerlos, Tirol, Austria. I decided to put on my snow leggings and walked another halve a mile further. There was no path; therefore I had to find my way through deep snow. I followed food steps, which were still visible but covered with new snow from last night. When I arrived a group of stables, the sun was almost disappearing behind the mountains on the right side. I hurried and sketched the main scene. Soon it was getting terrible cold. The watercolour painting I created at home in the comfort of our conservatory.
