Higashi-Shinjuku, the modern heart of Tokyo. Business men are waiting to cross the road and hurry to their offices.The contrast of the crowd against the modern facade of a department store attracted me to take a photo and paint the scene at home! I tried to capture the reflecting light of the road signs in the shopping windows and on the street. The sun is casting many different shadow shapes behind the people. I hope you like this street scene.
