A Dartmoor River by christine basil

A beautiful piece Christine. I love the softes of the water, background and reflections and the sharpnes ofthe rocks. Well balanced combination of soft and hard edgeds. Very harmonious feel to the colours. And lovely greens warmed with sienas. Was interested to ask what did you use for masking the foliage on the left hand side. In the beginning I thought it might have been textured with salt.
