Thank you Brenda for your comments; that is exactly the look I wanted to achieve. Normally Eve is depicted looking far more blatant! I have another entitled Salome, but the iridescence of her veil (and transparency) does not photograph and reproduce well. I will 'post' it however.

This is the first in a new series of paintings depicting women from the bible, history and legend. I have used Interference Acrylics in the background, unfortunately this does not photograph very successfully.
