Three Days from Spring

This is lovely Chito. As you know I love "close ups"! Gorgeous colours and the water's great. Where do live - you still have snow! Here south of Paris spring has arrived - birds singing, warm sunshine and...... pollen to get everyone's eyes watering....!

And here on the Isle of Wight, the sun is hazy, it's b.... cold, and the birds are shivering their feathers off ..... It was warmer when there was snow on the ground, but I much prefer to see it in this beautiful (and not at all rough..) painting than experience it again.

Lovely Chito. The ice cold of the snow and water, then the warmth in the stones. I thin we shall all be praising the spring this year.

Lovely colour and composition. It was 16 degs in Derbyshire today! yippee! but it's going to rain rest of week.Boo.

We had 17 deg. today, but we still ice/snow in the shady parts. Everyhting is muddy and mucky. Took a few photos yesterday, mostly puddles. I'll see what I could do with them. Avril, I live in Toronto, Canada. We normally get a lot of snow, but this winter has been very kind to us. Thanks for all your kind comments and funnies. Cheers.

I know now why we've had such along, cold winter...... you sent it over to us! Looking foreward to seeing more puddles! I took my camera out yesterday too looking for old rusty "things"!

I love your style Chito, your whole gallery is beautiful. I wish I could use watercolours like that, you are an inspiration for us. Weather report: Berkshire, UK, rain, mist, 10C. Daffodils are blooming so that is a great sign for spring.
