Well done - I love the subtle colours and the general atmosphere.

Agreed almost an illustrative look to this one Cheryl, lovely colours and peaceful

Lovely washes in this one Cheryl, I like the misty windmill in the distance. I've been on a few of Geoff's workshops and love his work. Funnily enough, he does do quite a lot of pencil work prior to painting and it works for him!

Hi Cheryl thanks so much for your comment on my pastel portrait of the ridgey puppy, so pleased you like it, I am guessing you will have been able to get onto the pmp site by now, I had no problems getting on it this morning, did you notice Lucy Swinburne has joined the site, like I commented to her I was stunned to see her on there, my pastel puppy is of one offer photo's and she loved it ! Even more stunning! I guess everyone is being affected by this recession that is on at the moment, even Lucy! She does'nt seem to be that computer savvy which surprised me a bit, I had to tell her how to leave a comment on artwork, anyway, thanks again Cheryl xx

This piece is a practice from Geoff Kersey's book Trees and Woodlands. I added more detail and more color than he did (can't help myself!). 12 1/8in. x 16 1/8in. When I first started on this one, I was'nt too happy with the looks of it, but it ended up turning out pretty good...
