I'm a big fan of Geoff''s and have been on a few of his courses in Deryshire. I can see his influence here, very nice work.

Interesting to know that you've used a Geoff Kersey painting as the model for this, because although I know his style quite well I wouldn't have recognized it here: which means you've made it your own, and created a very interesting and lively painting into the bargain. These really do look like mighty oaks.

Arches 140lb NOT watercolour paper, White Nights watercolour. 12 1/8in x 16 1/8in. This piece is a practice from Geoff Kersey's Trees and Woodlands book. I like some of his techniques alot and will continue to use them in the future.
