Another beauty Charles.

Well you know I love the Peaks. Wish I had been there on that gusty Autumn day. Beautiful and evocative.

Beautiful colours Charles - another lovely painting to add to your portfolia

Another nice painting Charles, as always up to your usual high standards of composition, tone and colours , like this one .

I like the addition of the thicker grey branches that run almost horizontal across the top half of the painting echoing the greyness of the wall and road. Very nice painting Charles.

I do like those shady lilacs with those acidic greens, wonderful use of colour.

This may be my favourite of all your beautiful pictures. Derbyshire spring next? What do you think of Hockney?

Your excellent standard of painting Charles.

Superb, Charles - love the way you balanced the warm yellows and rust with the cool greens and blues. I'll be off on vacation for 3 weeks, so please excuse me if I am not commenting on your works during that time. I'll catch up when I get back.

Beautiful Charles

Welcome back Charles, hope the bloody arthritis has eased a bit. Another great painting, showing trees as the massive plants they are - I sometimes think what life would be like without them: pretty bleak, I think, and much less interesting. This is an impressive and dominating specimen, made even more so by the coating of ivy.
