This is beautiful Charles, I hope you are getting better

Lovely spot, Charles, although perhaps not today! I thought this would be one of your acrylics, the colours are so rich, perhaps the canvas helps? Hope you manage to kick that awful Arthur out and feel better soon.

Beautiful painting Charles - I hope you feel better soon.

I can barely believe this is a watercolour. It's terrific. Best luck getting Arthur to leave. Have you tried glucosamine gel rubbed on? MY husband swears by it.

I also play host to Arthur, Charles, though thank goodness it's not in my fingers, so I can guess how you feel; winter doesn't help... great painting, it has simply never occurred to me to paint with watercolour on canvas board - but there seems to be nothing you won't try, and nothing you can't turn your hand (even if arthritic) to.

So far I have avoided Arthur - main complaint is cold induced urticaria which is playing hell in this weather - whats that I hear you ask - Oh dear I am helping to turn this into health forum - Arthur or not this is yet another superb painting Charles.

You have excelled yourself here Charles, Arthur must have had a tea break!

Another fine painting Charles, they just seem to get better and better with each post you make, the composition tone and depth in this piece is really spectacular and I love it. Hope you are feeling a bit better soon .

Graham and all the others are right, Charles, this is superb. There is so much depth in this perfectly painted and magnificent view. Love it! I didn't meet Arthur (yet!) but I hope you are getting better when this very cold weather is over.

This is absolutely magnificent, Charles. It is amazing how you create so many layers in watercolor without muddying your work. I'm so sorry to hear about Arthur - I hope you recover with the advent of warm weather.

Gorgeous piccy Charles, and let that Arthur know who's boss!!!!! Only a few weeks before the good weather comes around again. Take care

A real beauty Charles, such a wonderful tranquil place could easily be Canada. I hope you manage to get rid of Arthur soon !!

Great painting Charles, admire all your work very much.

Charles this is a great picture especially as it's been painted in watercolour on board I could never manage that. So I have to make do with W/C paper only. I do hope you get better soon.
