I agree Charles - very much bluebell season! I can't claim to be in your class, and you might remember I was struggling with "greens", so i would be grateful if you could take a moment to comment on my bluebells. http://www.painters-online.co.uk/gallery/picture.asp?id=42490. I do think we have a similar style and approach. We should get together - you're ony up the raod from me (sort of).

Bluebells seem to be finished round here; very spectacular while they lasted; I find them hard to paint, because if you're not very careful you end up with an overly "pretty" painting; they work here, and you haven't smothered the woodland floor with them, but have broken them up effectively.

The lavender-blues go very well with your palette Charles. It's a lovely contrast - the warmth of your earth tones against the cool tints of the flowers.
