Southrey by Charlie Wardale
Soft pastels on Canson Touch, 12 x 9.5". Painted from my own reference photo taken on a December morning in 2020. I was attracted to the flat calm showing all the reflections and the warm morning light. I've attempted to capture these in this painting. Using a mixture of Rembrandt and Unison pastels along with a couple of pencils for the boat. Critique, as ever, most welcome
